LIVEN UP!

So as we all know where I live (Christchurch) had a major Earthquake! We are alive and well thank goodness but would never like to experience that EVER again. So while feeling a bit gloomy about all of this - I thought I'd brighten things up but adding lively and bright colors today! Top of my list - bright pinks!!!
Also remember that you can request anything that you are looking for inspiration in the Home Decor world, from colors to styles and even including children's rooms and nurseries!

FEELING BLUE.

So this post is dedicated to my special friend, who is looking to re-decorate her bedroom and en-suite, giving it a new face-lift with the color blue - or cloudy/dusty blue to be specific. I found it interesting, that majority of the rooms are contrasted with neutrals - which looks amazing may I add! Plus textures are important, especially when adding blue furniture or accents with blue walls. Enjoy!

Blues and Neutral - so peaceful!

THE MONTH OF LOVE.

Have always loved hearts in a home - always makes me happy. So here are a few ideas on how to add hearts into your home without it looking too childish. I do prefer neutral hearts in a home but a splash of color never hurt anyone :) There are also ways to bring in DIY hearts, like the patchwork cushion (adding your own style of  hearts to a plain cushion), or the cute pot plants and the framed hearts made from newspaper. Super exciting!

Neutral hearts: Serviette holder, hooks, fairy lights and cushion with heart print.

Twig hearts, making for a lovely entrance or outdoor entertainment area.
